Paver Pool Deck & Pavilion Patio
This Mansfield backyard is organized around a rectangular pool and the paver deck that frames it. Beside the house, a broad patio makes room for a dining table and a pair of lounge chairs, then continues as a deck around all four sides of the pool. A shallow ledge and full-width steps span the end of the pool nearest the patio.
A white pavilion with a hip roof stands at the corner of the patio, giving the poolside a shaded place to sit. Along the lawn, the edge of the paving sweeps in a broad curve before straightening into the long line of the pool deck. A white fence and planting beds border the far side of the pool, while the near side stays open to the lawn.
Materials & Details
Light-toned pavers in several sizes are laid in a random pattern across the patio and pool deck. A band of darker pavers outlines the paving and repeats around the pool, just outside the light coping, so the water reads as a framed rectangle from above. The same border follows the curve where the patio meets the lawn, and the coping is mitered at each corner of the pool.
